It’s business as usual for next week in terms of Distance Learning.

Please read all of the information in this blog post. It should answer some of the questions that you have and will also assist us with our learning at Level 3.

Distance Learning continues next week, starting Monday 4th of May

Zoom sessions will now start at 9:20am so that students who are attending school can also attend the meeting.

We will continue to use our Distance Learning slide as the main one stop shop for links, timetables and other important information.

Online Learning and Catch Up Sessions will all be run using Zoom.

Links and passwords to each of the teacher’s Zoom Meeting Rooms can be found in our distance learning slide and also on the Zoom Session Schedule.

Online Literacy/Numeracy Workshops.

Next week we will be running a combination of Literacy and Numeracy workshops through the week starting from 9:20am. Please make sure you know which Learning Group you are in and which teacher you are meeting.

The Online Literacy/Numeracy Workshops for this week, starting Monday 4 May.

Monday and Tuesday will be used to teach Literacy (Murray Gadd workshops). Wednesday and Thursday will be used for a combination of Zoom help sessions where students can login into a Zoom session and seek help on either Literacy or Numeracy. Friday will be an opportunity for students to share this week’s learning with one another and to have a catch up.

New Learning

Next week we will be introducing the Mihi Assignment for students to complete and also the Punctuation Ladder workshops. These will be explained on Monday morning during the Zoom sessions.

General Catch Up Sessions

These will run again this week on Monday through to Friday.
