40 Hour Challenge - this weekend
The World Vision 40 Hour Challenge officially takes place this weekend - June 16th - 18th, and Oaklands is taking part.
Each year World Vision holds what used to be known as the 40 Hour Famine. Recently they have added a wide range of 'Challenges' including: 40 Hours --> no tech, no taps, 40 litres, 40km, 40 Random Acts of Kindness.
A number of students at Oaklands are taking part, and they have linked up to the Oaklands Fundraiser page. At last count we have raised
We have set ourselves a goal of $2000 which we are very confident of achieving.
How can you be involved?
If your child is keen to be involved, or has let us know that they are keen, then you can help them set up a fundraising page. Then you can share that with friends and family, and they can sponsor your child. When you have set up your fundraising page, you can link to Oaklands, and the funds raised gets added to our total.
