Who are the Student Leaders at Oaklands?
In the spirit of demonstrating our Community Value, we will be profiling two of the Student Leaders at Oaklands School each week.
This week we profile two of our House Captains.
Taylor Foster and Annabel Keylard are the Rata House Captains.

Name: Taylor Foster
Student leader Position: Rata House Captain
Some interesting facts/info about me: Hi, I am Taylor. I am 12 years old I have a brother. I love to play sports. The sports I do are Touch and Running. I also coach Hockey. This year I have been going to Winter Sport every Friday to help with Hockey. In the weekends I like spending time with my family. Some of the things we do are, going mountain biking, going to the skate park and spending weekends away in our caravan.
In the summer we like to go to Lake Hood in Ashburton with my family, Nan, Pop, my cousins and my Aunty and Uncle. We go on the biscuit, kneeboard and kayak.
This year at school I have enjoyed Buddy Programme, going to Te Hapua, training for Koru Games and all the leadership things that are happening in the Year ⅞ Hub.
I am looking forward to going to Wellington for camp in November.
Name: Annabel Keylard
Student leader Position: Rata House Captain
Some interesting facts/info about me: Hi I am Annabel. I'm 13 years old and I have one sister. I am one of the House Captains for Rata this year and it has been really fun so far. Some interesting facts about me are that I have one cat named Molly and one dog called Toby . I also love sports. The sports I play are Netball, Tennis, Volleyball and Touch. This year I have been helping with the Year 5/6 Netball team for Winter Sport and it has been really fun.
