Last year Oaklands School was accepted on to the Ministry of Education PB4L Programme.  This contract provides us with the opportunity to review our policies and behaviour around our behaviour management programmes.  

The Ministry of Education provides facilitators to work with our key staff on implementing a school wide programme.  Our two key staff at Oaklands School are Lynnie O'Connor and Bryan Brown who will work with our staff on reviewing and updating our existing programmes.  

At the beginning of the year our staff spent nearly two days discussing and developing our PB4L and Restorative Programmes.  From the discussions we have reviewed our C.A.R.E programme and set this up in a book that your child will have brought home.  Please take the time to read this as we will be developing this further during the year and will be asking you for your thoughts and ideas.
