The Enrolment Process

If you are in zone and wish to enrol your child please complete our provisional enrolment form.

The first step towards enrolling your child is to ascertain whether your family lives within our zone.

Then, please complete the relevant form:

• an Intention to Enrol form (if your child lives in-zone), which is available from the school office or see below. 
• a Ballot form (if your child lives outside our enrolment zone) - please click here for more information.
  

We then contact parents to 6-8 weeks prior to a child’s anticipated start date to book an enrolment meeting.

Visiting the School

School visits:

You and your child have the opportunity to visit their new classroom during your enrolment meeting, as well as the library and other parts of the school. Two to three classroom visits will also be arranged during the meeting, to assist with your child's transition to school.

Visits before advising of your intent to enrol:

If you are considering Oaklands School for your child, we host several events during the year to which prospective students and their parents are welcome. 

Some offer greater access to classrooms than others, however all give you an opportunity to see our students’ learning or performances.
