Anti- Bullying Week at Oaklands School

Karen Mackie —

This week is New Zealand's anti bullying week and our staff and students are participating in the programme. Classes are designing posters and we will have a mufti day on Friday 26 May as part of the National Pink Shirt day across New Zealand. This programme is supported by our students having fortnightly KiVa lessons to support the anti bullying message. KiVa is an international antibullying programme which empowers students to speak out against bullying. We had a parent meeting to share this information with you and you should have received a KiVa pamphlet explaining the programme to you and how we can support your child.
