Our chickens are here!

On the 7th of June (Wednesday), we are holding a non-uniform day to raise money for the Halswell Menzshed. The Halswell Menzshed helped Mr Meyrick construct a chicken coop for the school to house the lovely chickens we have purchased.

It is a gold coin donation that will be donated to The Halswell Menzshed. We have worked hard over the last term holidays to construct the chicken coop and as a school, we want to show our appreciation for the support they provide our community.

The theme for our non-uniform day will be chickens! Best dressed from each year will get a personal introduction to the chickens with Mr Meyrick and spend some time with them! Students who participate will also get to vote for 4 of the following names nominated by the students and staff to name the chickens.
