Integrated Learning -

We have spent time wrapping up our learning about the Zones of Regulation from last term. Our focus for 4 Feelings in One Day was to create emojis that represented the Zones of Regulation. We are very impressed with the standard of emojis and the thought process behind the designs!

The students have begun using their emojis to create games to share with the rest of the school. The purpose of themes games is to assist with developing a common understanding around emotions felt in different zones. Games being created are emoji versions of some crowd favourites, such as, Uno, Monopoly, Memory, Go Fish and Guess Who?

Mandarin Lessons -

We have just begun Module 2 for our Mandarin Lessons.

This week we have been learning how to count to 10. Next week we will be continuing this learning and moving to teen numbers. Students have been enjoying singing along with this number rap - please feel free to practice with this video
