Multi-cultural week

This week has been amazing. We have participated in and seen many different cultural practices. The students have participated in a cultural parade, one of our parents, Jeanine came in and taught our students about the Netherlands, and some of our students got Henna done on their arms.

Learning this week

We have been starting our movement into understanding where we have come from and our generations before us. This ties in nicely with our multi-cultural week. We will be gradually moving towards how we can affect change in our environment to represent who we are at this school.

Swimming starts in week 5 next week. We ask that parents are mindful about ensuring students bring their togs and towels next week.

Year 5/6 are swimming on Monday and Wednesday each week till the end of week nine. We are looking to achieve a 100% success rate in swimming attendance. If students are unable to swim then please contact the Kaitiaki Teacher via email.
