Week 4 in Kōmingo 5/6
Very busy week this and next week! please read on to know what's happening!
St John
The students partook in a St Johns lesson on the Doctors ABC. Students learnt about calling for help, recognising danger and how to best help in a situation.
Multi-cultural week
This week has been amazing. We have participated in and seen many different cultural practices. The students have participated in a cultural parade, one of our parents, Jeanine came in and taught our students about the Netherlands, and some of our students got Henna done on their arms.
Learning this week
We have been starting our movement into understanding where we have come from and our generations before us. This ties in nicely with our multi-cultural week. We will be gradually moving towards how we can affect change in our environment to represent who we are at this school.
