Oaklands School has entered into the Canterbury Horticultural Society's Garden Show.

We have created a display garden at the Woolston Working Mens Club which is called " Garden to Table to Chicken".  The show is on Friday 11/3 - Sunday 13/3.

The Gardening Club has put a lot of work into this garden planting, watering and even making scarecrows. Our garden is based around our school focus of eating what we grow and feeding scraps to our chickens. 

The Show is open to members of the public Friday and Saturday 10 -5, and Sunday 10 -3. There is an entry fee of a gold coin. There will be students on site all weekend to talk about our display.
