40 Hour Famine - the aftermath
WOW - what a weekend it has been. So exciting to be involved in helping other people - particularly the children of Syria.
It has been an exciting time listening to some of the stories from our students as they took on the challenge of living sacrificially to help raise money for the children of Syria. I am so proud of what our students have accomplished. They have taken part in something quite outstanding alongside nearly 130,000 young kiwis going without to help somebody they will probably never meet. If you have a child who has completed the famine in any way shape or form, we are now seeking the collection of the money they have raised. Once they have collected in the money, could they bring in their money + their booklet to Mr McCallum.
A thousand thank you's for all you have done. I look forward to hearing many more wonderful stories - knowing we have made a massive difference
