Girls Smash Cricket - coming to Halswell Domain

Grant Forman —

Canterbury Cricket are running a Girls' cricket programme, with the expressed aim of having fun, over 5 weeks beginning Tuesday 9th November. Read on to find out more information.

Currently the Black Caps are competing in the T20 World Cup, aiming to add the shorter form of the game to their test world champion title. In March and April 2022, the Women's  1-day cricket World Cup takes place in New Zealand, with the final being held at Hagley Oval.

Here is a chance for girls to get a taste of the great game, in a friendly and fun environment.

If you are keen for your child to be involved, please email Rebecca Gillett @ Canterbury Cricket
