Touch Rugby was once again a popular choice of activity for our students at the the Koru Games. Read their thoughts on this years games below. 

It was good leading the Team with Jakob at the Koru Games and everyone tried their best. It was good to win a few games, and also some of the better teams were a big challenge. We kept trying our hardest throughout the whole three days and we all showed good sportsmanship. ( Josh F)   

Our team did really well at the Koru games; we came 8th and we all played our hardest and all had great fun. My best part was when I scored a try for the team. There were teams that were hard and easy but they all showed great sportsmanship whatever level they were at. The most challenging thing for me was playing full games because we didn't have any subs and you had to have three girls on at a time, I am so looking forward to the next year’s Koru Games. We did quite good because we won a couple of games at Koru Games, it was fun going to Koru Games, we worked quite well as a team. We didn't give up. ( Logan)

I think that we did quite well and we improved as a team as we played more games. We didn’t give up even when we were losing by a lot. Overall our team worked well together and we all had something to take away from Koru Games. ( Isabella)

I think that the team definitely improved throughout the year. Although we weren’t doing as well on the first day as the last couple of days, we gave it our all and didn’t give up. I think that most of our team enjoyed ourselves too and if not we all had a good experience and had something to take away from the Koru Games 2016. (Mollyanne)

I think we did pretty well for a B team and Mollyanne was a great captain once we got everyone to listen to her directions. We finished 7th or 8th out of about 11 teams so our final result was really good. I’m positive that by the end of the tournament everyone(including me) was having fun and enjoying the last few games. I think we did really good for a B team and even though many of us weren't that into sport we all gave our very best out on the field and had a great time.Overall I think that everybody had a good time being a team of Oaklands. ( Lauren)

I think we did well for a B team at Koru Games and improved heaps from day one. I think everybody was having a great time and that we were all trying our best and our captain Mollyanne did a good job leading the team and our whole team listened to her. (Nicholas)
