Kauri Cross Country

On Wednesday students competed in the Kauri Cross Country at Westlake Park. We were really impressed with the Year 7 and 8 students at this event. Many seniors ran the cross country TWICE, once with the Year 4 students to support them around an unfamiliar course and then again in their own race.

Students have started a new pentad at Tech this week. Groups are now at the following rotations.

Leadership - Merit Badges

Our new 2019 Leadership badges have now arrived! The first group of students who have completed the requirements for their Merit Award will be receiving these at our Kauri Team Assembly from 1.30pm on Monday 27th May.

Maths - 

This week we have rounded up our learning around Time and Temperature. Next week we are starting a 2 week focus on Number Knowledge before moving onto Number Strategy.

Novel Study - 

Next week we are starting our Novel Studies for Reading. Each week there will be set pages to be read and follow up activities that need to be completed.
