Part of our review of learning programmes in 2017 was to make changes to our Friday reflection so students are reflecting more on 'how' they learn rather than 'what' they have been learning.

 Students are reflecting on 'what' they are learning across the curriculum throughout the week (e.g sharing their progress towards their learning goals with peers & teachers, providing feedback to each other online etc).  We are currently reviewing how we report to parents after the changes to National Standards reporting at the end of 2017 and we will soon be introducing a parent app so you can access your child's progress towards their learning goals at any time. 

In 2018 all students will reflect on their CARE values/KiVa lessons and their progress across the Learner Qualities at Whanau Hui, 9am on a Friday morning and decide on their focus for improvement for the following weeks. Parents/Whanau are welcome.
