Student Led Conferences are on Tuesday and Wednesday the 21st and 22nd November 2017. Here is the detailed information on how Hub 3 will be running their conferences. 

• Conferences are starting at 3:30 each day. Late night will be on Tuesday. There are enough but less spaces available this time round so get in early.

• We will be contacting anyone who does not make an appointment by Thursday 16 Nov

• Primary reason for the Student-led Conference is your child speaking to you about their learning. If you want to speak at length with a teacher, please make a separate time on a different day.

• We will be unable to speak to about class placements for 2018. All parent requests were required to be submitted to the office in writing prior to the end of Term 3.

• Four rooms - Reading/Writing/Maths in Rooms 9/10/11. Integrated Topic/Music in Room 24 - You will have 10 minutes in each of the literacy and Maths rooms. Learning will be available in Room 24 if you are able to arrive 10-15 minutes before your Student-led Conference time or stay briefly after your Student-led Conference is finished.

• Your child will have a learning task to share with you. There will be a guide sheet available so you can support your child with prompts and questions.

• Children will know which room to start in, plus the lists will be on the windows

• A teacher will be assigned to speak to you for 10 minutes during the 30 minutes your child is sharing their learning with you. - this maybe your child’s whanau teacher or a teacher who teaches your child for Reading, Writing or Maths.
