Netball talent runs in the family

Today we celebrate the very talented Laing family, with Madeline and Samantha both receiving netball awards.
Oaklands School is blessed with talented athletes and that is certainly true of Samantha and Madeline Laing. Both girls excel in a number of sports and at the recent Halswell Rugby League netball prizegiving were recognised for their netball skills and future potential.
Samantha received the Player of the Year award for her team and was also recognised as Primary Sportswoman of the Year.
Madeline received the Player of the Year for her team and was recognised as Primary Emerging Player.
Well done, girls. It is great to see you out there doing so well with your sport.
