Room 14 have been learning collaboratively through a range of experiences at activities that we call Action Stations.
We start the day with a key competency focus that we will be developing throughout the week. Last week we focussed on the question, "What do I want to get better at?" The children then choose action stations that helped them to get better at a specific skill.
The stations that are made available are carefully planned to address the needs of all children. Throughout the day children are applying 21st century skills of problem solving, creative thinking, persistence, innovation, perseverance, and collaboration.
At the end of the day we reflect on our learning and the key competency focus of the week. Children then develop their oral language skills be sharing their successes with the whole class and we celebrate achievements together.
