My name is Derek Beveridge and I am the Unit Commander of the 26 Squadron of the Air Cadets (ATC) in Oamaru.

Air Cadets is a youth organisation for young people of high school age. It is a uniformed organisation which runs programmes aimed at building good citizens. It has a military flavour to it and is part of the NZ Cadet Forces, covering Air Force, Army and Navy. We only have Air Cadets in Oamaru.
