The IHC Family Whanau Liaison team are putting on a special day created for the families and carers who support a person with an intellectual disability in their own home.

Enjoy demonstrations and talks on;

• Healthy eating on a budget 
• Dress yourself with confidence
• Making your voice heard and learn confident communication skills 
• Respite ideas and getting a break 

You will have an opportunity to chat with other families and carers, gain knowledge and make new connections. Information from other providers and organisations will be available. 

• Time:  9.30am to 2.30pm 
• Where: Brydone Hotel, 115 Thames St, Oamaru 

The event is at no cost to the families and carers of people with intellectual disabilities. An official invitation will be out at the beginning of March with further information about the day and registration details.
