At Oamaru Intermediate School we firmly believe that building and sustaining positive and effective relationships is the foundation of success. It enables students and staff to build strong connections with their peers and each other.
Your support last Friday, when our staff engaged in a professional development day, was greatly appreciated.
I want to extend a huge acknowledgment to our students who have demonstrated resilience and adaptability this term. I am incredibly proud of our OIS community. Your continued support in ensuring your child's success as the term concludes is vital. This includes preparing them for learning by ensuring they are wearing the right uniform, being on time for school, and having adequate sleep and nutrition.
A significant highlight for many students and teachers alike is the Year 8 Education Outside The Classroom (EOTC) programme we offer at O.I.S. Next week marks the departure of our first Year 8 camp group, comprised of Rooms 9 and 10, and 13 and 14. The excitement is building! Thank you for your support in getting all of our students to camp. To ensure a smooth departure, please ensure punctuality for the morning bus. Regrettably, we cannot delay departure for late arrivals. Students should assemble in the hall by 6:30 am and will be leaving at 6.45 am.
