As Board of Trustees Chair, it is my intention to provide a summary following our meetings to keep our school community informed.

All fees need to be paid by Wednesday 18 September.

On Friday 30 August at Oamaru Intermediate school, a bake sale and mufti day were held to raise money for The Child Cancer Foundation. The total funds raised came to $933.20.

Emily Southee - a Year 7 student, received this year's BLAKE Trust Leadership Award.

In 2018 OIS was kindly donated a large number of hi-vis vests for our students by Waitaki Road Safe. We'd love our students to be more visible and safe when travelling to and from school!

This year we had 12 students in the O.I.S film club who worked together to create 4 films.
