ATTENDANCE MATTERS.....Punctuality is IMPORTANT!
During the first 10 minutes of the day teachers
- greet the class
- give important notices
- set up the plan for the day
- review what has been learnt
- set the tasks for a lesson
It is not surprising that the children who are late in the morning do not know what is happening, which leaves them unorganised and unsettled for the day. In school often the same two subjects are taught first thing, gaps develop and learning becomes harder.
