As I reflect on the second week of school, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in ensuring your child is wearing their uniform with pride and having everything they need for their learning day, including PE gear and a hat. The feel in the classroom and playground has been super positive.

SCHOOL ABSENCES & LATENESS

Reminder: Parents are required to report their child's absence before 9am each day. We have had a large number of students arriving late to school each morning. School starts at 8.45am. Please ensure your child arrives to school on time.

2024 Technology Contribution - $60

Our invoices for your child's Technology Contribution have been emailed out to you today. For those of you who do not have email addresses or incorrect email addresses, your invoice has been printed and given to your child. This is the only Request for Payment that you will receive from Oamaru Intermediate this year. All other costs are personal choice costs eg: Flippaball, Chess, Sports Hoodies, Basketball etc. Be in the draw to win 1 of 3 $100 New World vouchers by paying your Technology Contribution by the 5th April, 2024.

2024 Camp Fundraiser

Pies and Juicies order forms, along with payment, are due by next Wednesday 14th February. Please DO NOT give our bank account number out to purchasers of pies or juicies. You must collect the money, and either bring in the cash or make ONE online payment to Oamaru Intermediate. Our bank details are on the fundraising sheets for YOUR USE ONLY. Please make sure the payment is clearly named and what it's for - Pies or Juicies.

Term 1 Sports Update

We have had a large number of students return slips to play sports this term. Teams have been collated this week for Touch, Flippaball and Indoor Football but we are still needing coaches for boys competitive touch teams. Without coaches some teams will not be entered in the competition. If you can help please message sharonw@oamaruint.school.nz or phone the school office 03 4370822.
