Inspiring Women Breakfast
Inspiring Women Breakfast
On Wednesday at 7am 15 senior students attended the Inspiring Women Breakfast hosted at the Otago Polytechnic Manaaki Restaurant by the Otago branch of the National Council of Women.
Six inspiring women who have achieved success in their chosen careers spoke about their journeys - how they arrived at where they are now, the paths they took, and the challenges they overcame. There was much food for thought and lots of great advice. Speakers included
Emma Burke - Partner Gallaway Cook Allan
Alana Carroll - Dunedin Police
Megan Fairley - Owner Designer Notion Fashion
Julie Everett-Hincks Manager Science at Otago Regional Council
We encourage all Year 10 to 12 students from 2019 to attend next year’s event.
