DUNEDIN TERTIARY OPEN DAY - Monday 7 May
Careers planning and education is essential for all young people.
Along with careers interviews and planning sessions students are offered a number of opportunities to explore a range of career and further education pathways.
An important event of the Year 13 Programme is the Dunedin Tertiary Open Day - Monday 7 May. This day is an opportunity for students from all over New Zealand to visit the University of Otago, Otago Polytechnic and New Zealand School of Tourism. Students are able to attend example lectures, take tours of each campus, check out accommodation options and talk to lecturers about the programmes they offer.
This year, both Year 13 and Year 11 students will attend the Tertiary Open Day.
All students have received an information booklet about the Tertiary Open Day and its events. There is a planner at the back of the booklet so that students can plan their day to make the most of this opportunity. Please check out the Tertiary Open Day booklet through this link.
This event is an invaluable opportunity for our Year 13 students as they have the chance to explore some of their many tertiary options for next year. For our Year 11 students, this early exploration of future career and study pathways is to inspire and encourage them to work to the very best of their potential.
