In the holidays the sailing team enjoyed three beautiful days on Lake Wanaka. 

We were warmly welcomed by the sailors from Mt Aspiring College, who allowed us to sail their new, and more competitive boats. In total between our two schools there were 13 sailors, and our Year 9’s were lucky to have lessons with a specialist coach from Europe. We returned to Dunedin with strong friendships and more confidence in our racing abilities. It was great to build on the knowledge gained in Rarotonga in July, and we look forward to further training in Wanaka this season. We are on track to achieving our goal of competing in the regional Secondary Schools' Teams Racing Regatta in Term 1.
