Open Night 2018

Ms R. Taigel, Deputy Principal —

This week we held our Open Night and Open Mornings for our contributing schools.

It was such a pleasure seeing all the bright, friendly and enthusiastic girls visiting us each morning this week, and seeing them all taking part in the activities prepared for them.

It was a great turn-out on Tuesday night, and we were very lucky to have a beautiful evening to host everyone on. The staff and students at school did an amazing job of displaying the wide and rich diversity of curricular and co-curricular choices we have available for girls here. It was lovely to see the huge range of activities for our guests to take part in, in order to experience the kind of learning that our girls are able to enjoy at OGHS.

A huge thank you must go out to all staff and students involved in the preparations leading up to, as well as the activities carried out on the night. Thank you to the Board of Trustees and the PTSA for their time and efforts in making the evening such a success. Of course, a big thank you needs to go to parents for supporting the girls with their organisation and travel to and from school in the evening.

The feedback on the night, and since, was overwhelmingly positive, with many visiting girls saying that seeing OGHS in action on Tuesday night was a truly magical experience.
