Congratulations to both the Senior A and Junior A futsal teams who won the top divisions in the Term 1 Futsal South competition. Well done also to the Senior B and 10A teams who were runners up in their divisions.

The Senior A team bet Queens 3-2 in their final on  6 April to win the Year 11-13 Division 1 title. Thanks to Lauren Paterson and Ailie Muldrew who both stepped up from the Junior A team to help us out. Lauren Paterson was awarded player of the day in the final for her great defence.

The Junior A team bet Kavanagh 1-0 in their final on 13 April to win the Year 9-10 Division 2 title (this was the top division for this age group despite being called Division 2). All of the girls played really well but Ella Gomez was awarded player of the day for her outstanding defence.

Good luck to both of these teams as well as the 10A team for the Otago Regional Tournament to be held on Friday 12 May at the Edgar Centre. We can’t wait for more great results in the future!
