On Saturday and Sunday the big competition started up as the teams took the stage for the Youth Employment Success Firebrand Otago esports Brawl. This saw teams travel from Wakatipu as they all looked to battle it out to be crowned champions. Out of the 7 teams that competed two were composed of Otago Girls' students. These being the Otago University Heraldines and the Pocketsmith Gremlin Gang. Highlights on the Stream:

The ākonga were incredible throughout the day and improved exponentially. It was fantastic also for some of the first team to be the first to commentate (cast) a match of League of Legends.
We look forward to seeing more growth in this sport as we support ākonga into the future of technology.
