Excitement is building at school this week for Library Day, to be held next Tuesday the 21st.

This will be the 85th Library Day held at our school, and each year is a wonderful celebration of stories, knowledge and imagination.

This year, colouring and 'Guess the Book Character' competitions are running in addition to the always popular Dress Up Competition.

The Theme is 'Looking To The Stars', and asks students and staff to reflect on their wishes, dreams and aspirations. 

The theme draws inspiration from Hiwa-i-te-rangi, the ninth star in the Matariki constellation which is also known as the 'Wishing Star'.

A gold coin donation is required - this goes towards the wonderful books donated to the library by each class.
