Many students in Years 11-13 will be beginning their first assessments now. It is important that students understand the conditions for each assessment, especially when working on and submitting work electronically.

Students will soon receive their NCEA information booklets. When they get these, please spend some time with them going over the different sections so that you are aware of the different rules around assessment.

We also encourage girls to record their NCEA internal assessment dates and results in their diaries, as well as keeping track of their accumulated credits online. They can do this most reliably with their NZQA log-on, but information is also available through the parent and student portals.

Please support your daughter to do as well as she can in NCEA by prioritising the amount of sleep she gets, managing social media time and forward planning for assessments and other commitments.
