This annual event took place on 25 May at the Savoy Function Centre.

The theme this year was Starry Night and this was reflected in the very effective decorations organized by the committee of students. There was a record (for us) number of 252 youngsters attending this year and 19 staff.

A feature this year was longer dresses but still with the usual accompaniment of high heels and very sore feet by the end of the night! Our photographers, Barry Kelk were amazed to find there were 6,000 photos downloaded within the first two minutes of the site going live.

All in all it was a lovely evening with non-stop dancing, aided by our great DJ from Twilight Entertainments – he knows when Dancing Queen, Blame It on the Boogie and YMCA are needed.

Thanks to all the staff, students, parents, PTSA volunteers, Savoy staff, Kelk Photography and Twilight Entertainments and of course Trade Me for the dresses and No 1 shoes for the footwear. Not forgetting the make-up artists, florists, fake tanning studios and nail polishers.
