These blues are awarded to girls with the highest levels of attainment in NCEA.

They are calculated from rankings of GPA (overall performance in all standards), % Excellence credits and number of Excellence subject endorsements. Receiving an Academic Blue is a highly prestigious honour which recognises the outstanding achievement of these girls.
