Madison Kelly - The Wildlife Hospital, Dunedin

Tuesdays have become the high point of my week with my Gateway placement at the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital. No two days are ever the same and with such a wide range of different wildlife that you wouldn't experience in a normal veterinary clinic coming through the hospital, I have had a hands on experience with some incredible animals and people. My placement has allowed me to gain knowledge in an area of animal care I hadn't explored before and only made my passion for my future career in veterinary medicine even stronger. Gateway has been such a unique and exciting experience and I hope others take part in such an amazing opportunity as well.
