Hello, my name is Alleanna Salvador and I am the Head of School Council Prefect for 2020.

This year will be my third year of being part of the school council. Over these three years, I have seen many exciting projects and events to come out of the team, such as introducing the pants option to students, the international food festival, environmental market day, and so much more. As well as continuing these yearly events, we also have a big year planned ahead full of new activities and projects! Through these new ideas, I am planning to further celebrate the diverse community that we have at our school, and in doing so improve the well-being of students at school by making everyone feel more welcome.

The school council is a group of students (of varying year levels) who collectively aim to improve the school and represent the views of the students. On the 25th of February, the school council representatives were announced during assembly. This year, we have a team of 23 students. The team consists of 4 representatives from each year level, and three council prefects including myself. The other two council prefects are Emily Hall and Rachel O’Kane.

If you have any ideas or questions, please feel free to email me or any members of the school council. There will be a google form coming soon that will be sent to all students, asking what you all want to see out of the council this year. I am very excited to take on this role this year, and cannot wait for you all get involved with our projects and events!
