Enviroschools Thrift-a-lot

Hannah Fleming, Year 13 —

On the 11th of June, Enviroschools held their annual Thrift-a-Lot event, and it was a fantastic way to support sustainability while having fun! We sold students’ second hand clothes, as well as a variety of items including jewellery, plants, dog toys, and tote bags. Each item was carefully chosen to promote reuse and reduce waste.

By encouraging everyone to buy second-hand and eco-friendly products, we are helping to protect the environment and reduce our school’s carbon footprint. Events like this make our school a better place—not only by promoting environmental awareness but also by bringing our community together with a shared goal of caring for the planet.

We’re proud to be part of an initiative that values the earth and encourages positive change. Thank you to everyone who has supported us by either donating clothes or purchasing products!
