Otago Girls' High School had a highly successful day at the Otago Cross Country Championships yesterday with Lisa Lokman becoming the Otago U15 Cross Country Champion and Catherine Lund, the U19 Otago Champion.

Our school also picked up a first placing in the U15 teams event (Lisa Lokman, Anabelle Batchelor and Kate Ballantyne) and a first placing in the U16 teams event (Sophie Matehaere, Caitlin Hewson and Olivia Edmonds).

We wish Catherine Lund well as she travels to Nelson to compete in the NZ Secondary School Cross country Championships in Nelson in just over a week's time.
