Physiotherapy Clinic at OGHS
Back in Motion Physiotherapy are delighted to offer the students and staff of OGHS an on-site physiotherapy clinic. The clinic will run on Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm in K21. The last clinic of the year will be Wednesday 28 October.
Having a physiotherapy service on site offers timely diagnosis and treatment of injuries and appropriate management. It also limits time out of class for students.
Privacy and confidentiality requirements are ensured. All communication of your daughter’s injury or condition will be made directly to you and your daughter from Back in Motion Physiotherapy.
Appointments can be made through the school office.
Treatment costs are as follows:
ACC Initial / First appt (40 mins) – no charge
ACC Follow-up appt (20 mins) – no charge
Private Initial appt (30 mins) – $54
Private Follow up appt (20 mins) – $43
Back in Motion Physiotherapy will send invoices out monthly to your home address. Payment can be made online or by visiting one of our clinics.
Abbey Patterson
Abbey graduated from the University of Otago in 2018 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. Abbey developed an interest for musculoskeletal physiotherapy throughout her degree and has started her first job as a physiotherapist with Back in Motion. Abbey is interested in yoga, pilates and sports physiotherapy. She was sports medic for a University premier rugby team in 2017.
