13 DVC, Ms Kingi, and Mr Pickard spent the day out at Okia Flat on Friday 12 Feb to look at natural forms as inspiration for Architecture. The rock formations, plant life and rich history of the area provide great starting points for the development of innovative ideas. We had a great day out in the sun with a mixture of walking, drawing, photography and seal watching. I'm looking forward to seeing what the students can come up with based on this trip. It was a much better experience being in the place rather than looking at other peoples images. Hopefully we have some exciting work to come.
