Y9 ENDRich Programme

Mrs S Porter, Deputy Principal Wellbeing —

Monday 28 November - Friday 2 December. Christmas baking, science experiments, Harry Potter Day, digital technology challenges and team building are just some of the exciting activities planned for next week.

Our Year 9 students will be taking part in a variety of enriching activities next week. These activities will provide experiences outside of our usual subject timetable. The students will be required to wear clothing suitable for physical activity and their sports shoes each day. There will be a range of activities on offer, led by staff from across the school. The school day will run as usual between 8:50am - 3:05pm. As an end of year treat 'The Churro Truck' will be at school at lunch-time on Thursday 1 December. The cost is $5 for a small serving and $8 for a large.

Please note that Year 9 students will be released at 12:30pm on Monday 28  November due to a PPTA Meeting for teachers. On Friday 2 December the school will be closed due to the mandated Teacher Only Day associated with changes to NCEA.

Christmas Hamper Donations

We are collecting non-perishable food items for food hampers for Presbyterian Support Services. This can also include items such as soap, shampoo and toothpaste. A donation box will be placed in the main school office. The final day for donations will be Monday 5 December. We would really appreciate any contributions towards this.

Monday 5 December - Students will be back in their school uniform for prize reading at school beginning at 8:50am. The Prize-giving ceremony will begin at 6pm at the Regent Theatre. The final day for Year 9 and 10 students will be Wednesday 7 December. They will be released at 12:30pm on this day.
