Outstanding Results at the NZ Secondary Schools Swimming Championships

Our team of five swimmers made a huge splash in Auckland at the 2026 New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championships, coming home with an impressive 8 medalsβ€”including 4 National Titles!

Despite competing as a small team against top schools from across the country, our squad delivered world-class performances in both relay and individual events.

Medal Summary

Our relay teams were in dominant form, bringing home a full set of medals across three events:

Individual Results

Hannah Ker-Fox (Under 14)

Hannah had an exceptional start to the meet, claiming two national titles before illness struck:

  • πŸ₯‡ 1st Place – 400m Freestyle (National Champion)

  • πŸ₯‡ 1st Place – 100m Freestyle (National Champion)

  • πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place – 100m Individual Medley

Unfortunately, a heavy head cold forced Hannah to withdraw from her remaining three eventsβ€”where she was seeded number one. Despite missing out on those races, her early performances were outstanding.

Annalise Miller (Under 15)

Annalise put in a superb performance in the distance and sprint events:

  • πŸ₯‡ 1st Place – 400m Freestyle (National Champion)

  • πŸ₯‰ 3rd Place – 100m Freestyle

Ivy Weatherston-Harvey (Under 15)

Ivy put together a strong series of races, finishing inside the top 10 in three events:

  • 5th – 100m Butterfly

  • 6th – 50m Freestyle

  • 10th – 100m Freestyle

  • 12th – 100m Butterfly

Isabella Miller (Under 17–19)

Isabella delivered consistent, high-level results across a range of disciplines:

  • 5th – 200m Freestyle

  • 6th – 100m Freestyle

  • 9th – 100m Backstroke

  • 10th – 50m Butterfly

Olivia McBride (Under 17–19)

Olivia showed incredible consistency in the breaststroke events, securing top-six finishes in all three distances:

  • 5th – 200m Breaststroke

  • 6th – 100m Breaststroke

  • 6th – 50m Breaststroke
