Year 13 Biology tried a different outing for our first field trip in 2023! We headed off to the Physiology department of the Otago University. It was a great introduction to our Homeostasis topic. Data was collected on skin and core body temperature and heart rate at rest and at varying levels of exercise. Of course there was lots of cheering going on to motivate some of our athletes to really push themselves. It was a thoroughly enjoyable lab session.
