Congratulations to our curling team, 'Curling Fries', who won the Otago Secondary Schools' Competition this week.

The team, comprising of Rachael Pitts, Emma Campbell, Ella Williams and Ailie Muldrew played with skill and poise, to beat John McGlashan in the final. This is the first time a girls team has won the experienced grade. The team is grateful to Mhairi Bronte Duncan, an ex-girl, who has coached them for the season. We are also very grateful to Nikki Williams, Ella's mother, who has been a most dedicated and supportive team manager.
Well done girls! We wish you well for Nationals, being held at Naseby this weekend.
