Hi everyone! We are Harriet, Ella, Jehaan and RJ and we are your House Prefects for 2023. We are super excited to be working together to make this year's house competitions a fun and competitive environment for you all. There are heaps of house events coming up this year, such as swimming sports, cross country, and the singing and haka competition that will decide whether Allan, Benjamin, Cruickshank or Williams is the better house. Although Williams came out victorious at Sports Day, it’s still a level playing field from now until the end of the year. MAY THE BEST HOUSE WIN…

Harriet

Wassup Nautilus News, my name is Harriet Thompson and I have the absolute privilege to be leading Allan house for 2023. As a prefect, I’m excited to work towards making the house competitions as fun as possible this year. Enjoyment of the house competitions is the most important thing for me this year, and I’m super excited to work with RJ, Jehaan, and Ella to make each competition something for us all to look forward to!

Ella

Hey everyone! My name is Ella and I’m so excited to be the Benjamin House Prefect for 2023, especially after a great start at sports day. A few things about me, I quite enjoy my sports, and I am involved in school football, futsal, rock climbing and am a recent addition to the cricket team after being recruited for nationals despite never playing or thinking about cricket in my life (I still don’t know the rules). My personal favourite food from the canteen is the garlic bread, and I’m stoked to be able to work with RJ, Jehaan and Harriet this year. I’m so proud of Benjamin’s effort at sports day, we are definitely in it to Benja-win it.

Jehaan

Hi there! I’m Jehaan and I’m the Cruickshank House Prefect for 2023. I’m super thrilled to be granted a chance to lead Cruickshank to victory and win the house trophy for the second year in a row. A few fun facts about myself: I enjoy hockey and the turf is basically my second home, considering the amount of hours I spend there a week. I play the flute in both the Orchestra/Concert Band and Jazz Band. And lastly, my go-to TV show to watch is Brooklyn-99. You can never get enough of the chaos that goes on in that show. I look forward to being one of your house prefects this year and working alongside Ella, Harriet and RJ. Cruickshank is definitely winning the house trophy again this year so watch out Benjamin, Allan and Williams.

RJ

Kia ora, my name is RJ and I am the Williams House Prefect for 2023. I enjoy playing football (which sucks up most of my time) , writing and playing guitar. I also somehow ended up playing cricket? Like my friend Ella Cone, I have no idea what is going on but I keep coming back. We absolutely smashed it on sports day coming out number one and I have full faith we will continue the winning streak going forwards. Although we have an awesome house prefect group, who I am very grateful to have beside me, Ella, Jehaan and Harriet better watch their backs because we are taking that house trophy home. Up Williams!
