NCEA Information Evening

Monday 16 May, 5:00pm, School Hall. All Year 11 students and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Dear Parents/ Caregivers/ Whanau,

We would like to invite the parents, caregivers and whanau of our Year 11 students to an information evening to explain how NCEA works and the qualifications on offer at Otago Girls’ High School.

This will be run on Monday, May 16 in the school hall between 5 pm and 6 pm with a talk from Year 12 students who have experienced their first year of NCEA, as well as a brief presentation from Ms Dunn, our Principal’s Nominee (NZQA liason) who will inform you about NCEA and what it means for your young person. The session will start at 5pm and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end. Supporting this evening and providing you with the most up to date information available will also be:

This hour is valuable for students of Year 11 and their parents. In addition to explaining the National Qualification System we will discuss how you can support your young person to achieve success at school and beyond.
