On Friday lunchtime Year 11 Economics held their annual Market Day which is part of one of their internal assessments for the year. 

It was the culmination of much hard work for these classes where students have had their first taste of working in a team to develop a business plan. This year all groups  chose to sell food items which proved to be very successful with many groups selling out (Rice Rice Baby and their Rice Balls were the first to sell out) and all groups making a profit. A portion of each businesses profits are being donated to a charity of their choice. We were impressed with the students ability to reduce their costs this year through arranging items to be donated or sponsored and would like to thank all the local businesses who supported this venture.
