9Ce and 9Cl Physical Education classes have started a new unit this term. It has been about exploring the differences in cultural games and how they promote exercise among children. For this unit the classes split up into groups and presented different games from cultures of interest from all across the globe. This included Ballet, Bollywood dancing, Rakau and Poi making, Hanetsuki (Japanese badminton), Stilt making, Japanese Origami boat building, and a mix of other fun games. During this unit we became much more connected with other cultures through learning and playing their games as well as practising physical and social activities.
