On Thursday morning, my classmates in 10Zol and I walked into a crime scene. There was a taped-off area with a mysterious white powder scattered all around, and a slideshow was up with all of our suspects - Mrs Mitchell, Miss Berry, and Mr Cassidy! It turns out there was a cake that had been stolen, and our task for the lesson was to become detectives and test which suspect matched the samples from the crime scene.

We used our knowledge of chemical and physical changes to test the white powders found on all 3 of our suspects against the powder from the crime scene. We matched one suspect to the crime scene - and the perpetrator of this crime was none other than Mr Cassidy!

It was an awesome lesson that taught us a lot about chemical and physical changes.
