Dear School Community,

Salmac (via Naylor Love) have been contracted to undertake asbestos removal in our Hall as part of the current redevelopment. Work is currently planned to take place on the following dates:

8 December 2025 – 19 December 2025 (between the hours of 7:00am to 5:30pm).

Salmac are a Class A & B licensed Asbestos Removal Company as is required by Worksafe, and all removal work will be completed as per the following Acts and Regulations:

* Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

* Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016

* Approved Code of Practice for the Management and Removal of Asbestos

* Ministry of Education requirements for Asbestos Removal

Please adhere to any signage, directions provided from the removalists, and avoid the immediate area if possible on the dates referred to above. Please note that the dates provided may be subject to change, and updates will be provided if necessary.
